These conditions are hard to take Though i know the game well Pay a fortune for my mistakes So go slow, go slow Fleeting exchanges Ring in the changes I don't know what you're looking for Take the world, then you want some more With the world behind us And all ties undone Be what you want to be Prosperity, Insincerity Am I dreaming, am I dreaming still Take your leave, don't grieve me There'll always be another day Let the river move peacefully Let it flow, let it flow Unseen direction Have no objection You can't change your destiny Just strive to be what you want to be

I long awaited this sign A hint that you would be mine And you cover me With Those eyes of yours Said you needed some time Then you turn all sublime And you've hidden yourself Closing all the doors Frustration ate up my brain I had all on keeping sane It didn't matter what you said I always end up in the red Be serious Said I all I wanted from you was to try out something new And you said "why bother" "I don't really like change" You travel the world with me But won't take me seriously Oh you've spent all my money You didn't even stay Oh I could never figure you out You were always playing about All the promises Could wait for another day Sometimes we would sit and talk Or maybe go for a walk But you would always start by saying "What a shame, I spent all your money again" Be serious

Being here with me Is exactly where you're meant to be Finding every day There's another ray of hope for me Passing through the days With things I find to do You know I'd rather spend them all With you Looking back through time There was little to look forward to Never thought I'd find someone Who'd help me to survive like you Struggle through the days With things I find to do You know I'd rather spend them all With you

about

The early years spent with Matt Ellis at Axis Studios, Doncaster were a game changer. The sessions were expensive, but seeing what could be done in a studio with the use of samplers spurred Cev & Andrew to build their own modest set up, Slug & Whippet Studios.
This would become the base of operations for the rest of their time recording together.
